The M3 Revolver had been relegated to ceremonial functions before a protracted Helghast blockade forced the ISA armory to return it into military service. This revolver has been equipped with new tritium sights and a double-action trigger for improved combat effectiveness and was redesignated as the M4 Revolver.[1]

Like its successor, the M4 Revolver, this gun fires the powerful .357 Magnum (9 x 33 R) cartridge and has a 6 round cylinder.
